Brent Bigler - General Manager & Business Partner
Brent is the General Manager and Business Partner at Yough Lakeside Marine, bringing a wealth of experience from his time at Rahal Automotive Group, where he held roles in HR, service, sales, and finance, eventually becoming Sales Manager. With an MBA in Business from Penn State and an undergraduate degree from Clarion, Brent’s leadership and strong business acumen are key to the growth and success of the marine.
When he's not overseeing operations or ensuring everything runs smoothly, Brent enjoys a variety of activities including golf, music, computers, sports, and traveling. He’s also a big fan of boating and loves spending quality time with his wife and two kids, making memories that matter most both on and off the water.
As a business partner, Brent is fully invested in making Yough Lakeside Marine the best it can be, and he works hard to ensure that customers receive exceptional service every time they visit.
Bill – Supervising Mechanic
After spending early years guiding rafts and kayaking on the beautiful Youghiogheny River, Bill set out to expand his love for whitewater in the south. While there, a novel interest in alternate fuel systems led to custom diesel car and truck builds with waste vegetable oil systems. Eventually this led to a job as the maintenance manager for the entire truck fleet at a biodiesel company in Asheville, NC.
Life events carried him to the coast where he initially moved the family aboard their first vessel in 2016. Life’s been an adventure ever since. Along the way both of his kids learned to walk on boats as Bill was also expanding his talents under the tutelage of industry professionals in Hilton Head Island, SC. He became the head mechanic for a fleet of large passenger ferry boats on Daufuskie Island. In Maryland, he worked for A and B Yatchsman at Bert Jabin’s Boatyard. In NC he dedicated a year to a start up boatyard in New Bern. Now after nearly a decade, Working while living aboard has lead to a resume that covers an impressive variety of boats up and down the east coast. Everything from small runabouts, blue water sailboats, charter fishing boats, passenger ferries and yatchs. Bill’s knowledge has only grown along with his enthusiasm for helping people to find out what life on the water is all about!
Wanting some running room for their active family led to an important (and somewhat serendipitous) decision to relocate back to their roots in the Laurel Highlands. When Bills not at work he can be found cruising the ICW with his family on his Grand Bank’s 36 Classic.
Elaine – Office Coordinator
Elaine has been the backbone of Yough Lakeside Marine, for the last three years handling everything from answering the phone to keeping our schedule on track and making sure all the behind-the-scenes stuff gets done.
With a background in restaurant food service, Elaine is no stranger to hard work and providing excellent customer service. Her organizational skills and ability to juggle multiple tasks make her the go-to person for just about everything that happens at the marina. Whether it’s scheduling boat maintenance, taking care of customer inquiries, or making sure everything runs smoothly, Elaine is the one we can count on to get it done.
Elaine lives in Confluence with her husband, but her roots are in Beaver County, where her heart and her six grandkids are. When she’s not working, she loves spending time with her family and also enjoys the peace and tranquility lake life brings.
Elaine plans to stay on with us continuing to keep things running smoothly and making sure every customer has the best experience possible!
Brian – Marine Attendant
Brian’s been part of the Yough Lakeside Marine crew since 2017, starting out as our ace detailer and recently leveling up to handling winterization and de-winterization of boats. Whether it’s making sure a boat looks pristine or getting it ready for the colder months, Brian’s the guy we count on to get it done right.
Since he was a kid, Brian’s been a pro on the tractors, and he’s our go-to guy when it comes to trailering, maneuvering, and launching boats. His skills make him a key part of keeping everything running smoothly here at the marina. He makes it look easy — but trust us, it’s a skill!
Outside of work he spends his time doting over his pug puppy, Pepper. A big fan of motorcycles but nowadays you can find him racing quads through the woods around Markleysburg. He's the kind of guy who’s always up for a challenge, and we’re lucky to have him on the team!
Aiden – Mechanic
Aiden (affectionately known as Zid) is one of the key members of our service team here at Yough Lakeside Marine, where he’s been helping keep boats in top shape for the past year. A local from Listonburg, Aiden brings a passion for all things mechanical to the job. When he's not working at the marine, you’ll find him riding quads, fishing, or hunting.
Aiden’s love for working with his hands doesn’t stop at boats — he’s also a big car enthusiast, with his Mazda RX7 being a particular favorite. He’s excited about the future of his career here at the marina, where he plans to work towards his dream to become a Master Technician, staying close to his love for boats, the water, and everything that makes marine life fun.
Perry - Detailer
Perry joins our team with a extensive background in automotive detailing, having spent the last several years perfecting his skills at Subaru. He brings a diverse background and strong work ethic to our team having spent time installing and repairing garage doors, working livestock sales, and providing hospitality service at a hotel.
Originally from the Morgantown/Bruceton, WV area, Perry now lives in Hazelton with his wife and their two young children, ages 10 and 7. He also has an adult daughter, who will soon be 22. Together they enjoy the quiet rhythm of rural life. When he's not making boats shine like new, you'll likely find him in the garage with his dad, restoring classic cars. Keep an eye out for a beautifully restored 1950 Hudson Pacer cruising through town—that’s Perry behind the wheel!
